3 Generation Annual Christmas Cookie Bake 2009

Once again we had a our annual Christmas cookie bake - me, my mom(Betsy Stevens) and my grandma(Barb Ray). This has been either the 3rd or 4th year we have done this. We make lots of Christmas cookies and goodies and then "package" them up in Christmas tins and give them out to our friends and neighbors. This is such a great tradition - time spent together talking and laughing! Each year there is usually a treat that turns out wonderful and one that "flops" - each goodie we make is unique and made with love! Last year was our "biggest spread" - the most variety. This year we kept it simple. Thanks Mom and Gma - I had a great time baking with you!

Gma was very devoted to the Christmas tree and wreaths!
She paid close attention to detail!

See the wave in the green frosting -
it has dimension, very life-like!

Plans for 2010

Hello Family and Friends!

THANKS FOR CHECKING OUT OUR BLOG!

Joel and I believe that 2010 will be a big and exciting year for us - full of change and new experiences.
God has some big plans for us - we are praying that He will guide us in our upcoming decisions!
I plan on writing and posting pictures on this blog monthy, possibly weekly - so if your interested the MOSER FAMILY's latest news, be sure to "bookmark" this site and check back!

Here are some things we expect in 2010 -

1. Joel graduated November 2009 from ITT Tech with a Bachelors in Electronics and Engineering - he is currently working at ITT Industries(he has been employed at ITT since December 2008), since his recent accomplishment of earning a degree(while working full time he went to school full time - and has a full time wife - hahaha) he will probably be moving to a different position at ITT - moving on to something more challenging and rewarding(both personally and financially).

2. Moving - it is time for us to move - to a bigger home - (of course still within our means). Our first home - Bittersweet Drive - has been such a great "first-house" for us. The time has come - to upgrade We have outgrown our home - my Coca-Cola collection, scrapbooking hobby and photography business are bulging from our home(it is a wonder there is still room for Joel and his things - hahaha). We are looking for a 4 bedroom home with a 3 car garage and a large kitchen. Spring 2010 we will put our 3 bedroom house on the market - it is a cute house - great for first-time-home-buyers. Lancia Homes(local home builder) has a prior model home for sale - WE LOVE the layout of the home! Maybe when we are ready to buy they will have lowered the selling price! Joel and I have talked about building a home but I don't think we will go that route - please pray that God will guide us in this decision!

3. I have been working for ENT Specialists since March 2005 and have really enjoyed my job - I am a certified medical assistant and work on the nursing staff - we have really become like family!  -January 1, 2010  we are merging with the other ENT group(ENT Associates) in Fort Wayne - we will be called ENT Associates. This will bring lots of change - daily operations at the office - also working with their doctors(they have 10) - mixing with their employees. I don't think any of us are looking forward to this - but we have no choice - so we are choosing to go into this with a good attitude! Pray for peace and patience in the upcoming months. Stress is very high at our office, especially for the supervisors.

4. Paw Prints Pet Photography - my little business should be growing in 2010 - I specialize in Pet Photography in Fort Wayne and surrounding areas - this is my passion - my dream is to do this full time someday(this would be a great part time job in the future when we decide to start a family) I also do Wedding, Senior, Baby and Maternity photography. November 2009 completed the Photography Certificate from IPFW - I have been taking classes for about a year and I plan to take some more in 2010(advanced photoshop and nature photography). 5. As you know, I am a dog lover through and through! I grew up with a Scottish Terrier brother named Dusty - he is the reason I am so passionate about dogs and Pet Photography -
he loved to be photographed - he will be greatly missed(July 1996 - December 2008)!  There is a new addition to my parents home - Duncan and Dylan -litter mates(Born December 23, 2008, brought home March 28, 2009) - they are a handful and so lovable! Joel and I enjoy playing with them - they have so much energy! Joel and I are hoping to give our parents a grand-dog this year, maybe in the summer? West Highland Terrier is the breed for us! We even already have a name - Coconut!

6. Our 5 year Wedding Anniversary will be August 2010 - no plans yet -but I am sure we will do something fun to celebrate!
